An update on my 2015 Summer Reading List

Summer has been hot. Summer has been fun. Summer has been busy. Summer has been–holy crap, is it almost over?

Sigh… It’s always the same thing with summer. I always think it will last longer than it actually does. I put all of these expectations on summer–places I’ll go, books I’ll read, that type of thing–and then the clock runs out.

So how do I stand on my 2015 YA Gal Summer Reading List? It’s nearing the end of August and I’ve read:

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
If I Stay Gayle Forman
Paper Towns by John Green
Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson

Loved this one!
Loved this one!

I have two books left to read:

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, Book 1) by Cassandra Clare

Can I make it? I still have two weeks until Labor Day. Plenty of time!

P.S. I’m phasing away from formal reviews because as a soon-to-be traditionally published author, grading other people’s books gets sticky. I do chat on my Facebook page a lot about the books I read. This is the code I usually follow:

22391_1659646437598971_6301305125313087081_n

What this means is that if I describe a book but don’t explicitly say I loved it or liked it, it means that I did not like it. Now you’re in the know! 😉

Say hello! What do you like to read?
